OBERMEYER ACQUIRES INTEREST IN K+P PLANUNGSGESELLSCHAFT

As of 1st November 2016 OBERMEYER Holding GmbH has acquired shares in K+P Planungsgesellschaft. The renowned consultancy Koch+Partner (K+P) had entered interim insolvency in August 2016, after payments from a key account had been suspended. OBERMEYER pursued the participation in order to generate synergies from the merger for the OBERMEYER Corporate Group in future.
OBERMEYER Middle East (OME) has been awarded the design, supervision and project management of the new Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) headquarters building. The building will be a net zero energy building - the first of its kind in the hot climate of the Middle East region. The contract was awarded to OBERMEYER based on the strength of its engineering proposal.
In October 2016 the German Association of Consulting Engineers (VBI) published the "BIM Guideline for Planning Practice". OBERMEYER played a major part in the development of the guideline.
