New Light Rail Line Le Mans, France

On Saturday 30th August 2014 the extension of the line T2 in Le Mans was inaugurated. The 3.4 km long line section now connects the city centre with the "Bellevue" quarter in the north of Le Mans. OBERMEYER participated in and monitored the project planning track, catenary, traction current as well as grass covering for the track from the preliminary planning stage.

New Construction of German Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

The old chancery and visa section of the German Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, no longer meet the present-day requirements in respect of security and functionality and are to be replaced by a new building. With its conceptual design OBERMEYER was able to win the negotiated procedure.

Opening of Nursery School in Flöha

The nursery school in Flöha was officially opened on 29th August 2014. Following conversion the former spinning mill now provides space for over 370 children. The Chemnitz branch was commissioned with the general planning through all service phases.

Certificate in Gold for BSU New Building in Hamburg

On the occasion of the "Consense" trade fair for sustainable building, which took place on 1st and 2nd July 2014, the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) awarded the DGNB Certificate in Gold for the new headquarters of the State Ministry for Urban Development and Environment (BSU) in Hamburg. OBERMEYER was involved in the project planning of the building and its technical installations and carried out the construction supervision.

Wiesbaden-East Crossing Structure Opened

The new Wiesbaden-East crossing structure was opened on 30th April 2014. DB Netz AG had invested a budget of 15 million Euro in two new steel bridges on the railway line from Frankfurt to Wiesbaden. As a result of an alternative bid OBERMEYER had been entrusted with the execution planning.

OBERMEYER prepares BIM Manual for Germany

In 2014 the joint venture OBERMEYER Planen + Beraten GmbH and AEC3 Deutschland wrote the first BIM manual on behalf of the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (BBSR). With this the Institute is responding to the increasing interest in Building Information Modelling (BIM).

1st Prize "Ganzhou Beidou Industrial Park" in China

OBERMEYER China wins 1st prize in urban development competition "Ganzhou Beidou Industrial Park" in Ganzhou, China. The jury was impressed by the concept's holistic planning approach, which combines ecological, design and functional components.

S 21 North ring connection Berlin

At the end of September 2013 OBERMEYER was awarded the contract for the design of a new underground rapid transit line from Berlin Central Station to Potsdamer Platz. The contract comprises the overall planning of the 2nd construction stage for the project “S 21 Regional Rapid Transit System North Ring Connection” including all specialist trades.

Opening of School "Am Sportpark", Unterhaching

After an eventful project history the moment finally arrived on 7th January 2014: The roughly 700 pupils of the Fasanenschule in Unterhaching nr. Munich were able to move into the newly constructed primary and secondary school "Am Sportpark".
OBERMEYER had played a leading part as project controller for Unterhaching municipality ever since the commencement of the project in 2008.

Hospital complex "Am Steinenberg"

The second of the two new ward buildings planned by OBERMEYER in Wiesbaden with examination and treatment rooms in the hospital complex am Steinenberg in Reutlingen was opened at the end of September 2013. The structural implementation took place under continuing hospital operation.
